On Sunday 25 October, a special event took place at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research in Cambridge in frame of the Festival of Ideas!
Marie Curie postdoctoral fellows in Humanities gathered to present "A brief tour of European Research" on the occasion of the Cambridge Festival of Ideas. During this Marie Curie Ambassador Day organised by Dr Paola di Giuseppantonio di Franco, we gave small talks about our research and led some fun hands-on activities. This was the first time that the general aims of PleisTechnoVar were presented. For this occasion, I brought some experimental stone artefacts and participants could try to refit some of them to reconstruct the different steps of the production of retouched tools!
